True Grit member spotlight. Meet Alexandria nati True Grit member spotlight. 

Meet Alexandria native and equestrian competitor, Ashley Pommer.  Ashley joined our True Grit sport enhancement program back in early December with a goal to gain strength, balance, and coordination in conjunction with postural correction to help her prepare for competition in the worlds largest Arabian horse show held in Scottsdale AZ.  Upon recent return from the event, we are very proud to announce Ashley received 2023 Reserve Champion (runner-up) along with 3 additional top 10 awards.  A few vital keys to her success were coachability, persistency, consistency, and most importantly, determination.  Her horse riding trainer, Eric Kobernusz, noted improvements in her skill and attributed it to her after school sport enhancement training.  Ashley models the True Grit mission…put in the work, be consistent, be coachable and trainable, reap the rewards!!!
